Activities in summer
The Sardona Tectonic Arena, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2008 with an area of 32,800 hectares, offers a lot of summer activities.
Be it biking, hiking/mountaineering, walks, trail running or climbing. You can do everything at over 2,100 m above sea level in breathtaking nature. There is hardly any other place in the world where you can see how the Alps were formed as well as in our region.
The Segneshütte serves as a starting point for these activities and is also a place to stop for a bite to eat and relax after a tour before heading back down to the valley.
Hiking, biking, trail running & Co.

Hiking & Trail Running
You want to explore the landscape around the Segnesboden step by step? Then take your time and explore nature with the summer activities of hiking and trail running.
If you don’t feel safe enough in the alpine mountains, a leader of the LAAX School will be happy to accompany you through the terrain.

Climb
Expand your horizons in the climbing gardens on the Segnesboden and enjoy the view of the landscape at the same time. In the Segnesboden or Crap la Tgina climbing garden you will find walls in difficulty levels between 3a and 6c.

Biking
Due to its natural character with its many elements such as stone slabs and jumps, the Segnes Trail is a moderately difficult technical enduro single trail. It is aimed at advanced bikers. The trail joins the Runca Trail at Startgels and is 3.7 km long in total, with a total descent of 486 m.
Are you missing the right equipment? LAAX Rental in Flims rents out bikes and the associated protective equipment.
