The Segneshütte
In the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tectonic Arena Sardona, the Segneshütte is located on the lower Segnesboden near Segnes. One of the oldest mountain huts in the region at 2,100 m above sea level
From the sun terrace you can admire the Glarus main thrust with the “Tschingelhörnern” and the “Martinsloch” from Segnes. On the other side of the valley you have a beautiful view of the Flimserstein, from which the great landslide took place about 10,000 years ago.
The Segneshütte has become a meeting place in the mountains thanks to the FlemX. Both in winter and summer, the hut staff will welcome you and look after your well-being. Thanks to the innovative cable car system, the hut is barrier-free .

Getting there
The FlemX takes you quickly and easily from Flims to Segnes to the Segnes hut. Or via Nagens Sura with a short walk.
Mountain railway tickets can be purchased directly from the ticket store.

In winter, you have the opportunity to sleep in the middle of the LAAX ski area with 224 kilometres of slopes and stand on the slopes directly with Segnes in the morning. In summer, you can marvel at the sunset and the wonderful landscape.
A 3-course dinner and breakfast is available to all guests.
